Polease does not take a fee from its Supporting Artiste members for the following:
The artists earnings will be forwarded to their notified address less these percentages no later than 10 days after Polease received the cleared sum from the employing client (BBC ITV, record company etc).
Should other rates or fees be negotiated on the artistes behalf, Polease will contact the Supporting Artiste concerned and inform them of the rates for that job prior to the engagement. This will enable the SA to make an informed judgement as to whether they wish to proceed under the terms of that specific contract or not.
Polease believes that these fees are a fair recompense for the activity Polease undertakes on behalf of its Supporting Artiste members.
Any agency that charges an up-front fee and also takes a commission should be reported to the local Film Commission or the (UK Govt.) Department of Trade & Industry
