Supporting Artistes
Polease is essentially a people thing.
We have a book of experienced Supporting Artistes and Actors, many of whom are ex-UK Forces and members of UK civilian forces such as the Police, Ambulance/Paramedic & Fire services.
What We Do
What we do is match the people requirements of productions to our book of artistes and supply them with period perfect costume and associated equipment (as per the needs of the production).
Polease has gained a creditable reputation for excellence in everything it does - whether it is supplying just the costume & props or entire packages and we have a Credits list of diverse, quality productions to back this up.
Amongst our ever growing group of artistes we have many specialists such a Retained (and fully trained) Firemen, serving members of the Police service including members of a forces Mounted branch (available complete with horses if needed), people with a Medical and/or Paramedic background and people trained to handle all sorts of weapons - from swords to rocket launchers and everything in between.
Not restricted to Ex- Service or Male
You do not have to have a Police or British Military background to join Polease - we also have bakers, butchers, salesmen and maybe even candlestick makers. And it is not a male dominated world, approx. 40% of artistes on our books are female.
The one thing all our atistes have in common is the desire to accurately portray (mainly) uniformed roles in Film, TV, Video, Theatre productions or Photographic sessions and to be convincing in the roles asked of them.
A certain level of physical agility is also needed - many of the roles form part of the action sequences of the productions, so fitness is a key requirement.

Artistezone IS our online book. All Polease artistes will be added to it and all artistes are expected to supply enough profile information plus a suitable photograph to enable Polease to find you work.
ArtisteZone also features areas for artistes to build and maintain lists of your experience, broken down into various categories. And ArtisteZone also contains lots of help and advice for Supporting Artistes, whether existing or new to the business.

Squadease is a website advertising the POLEASE capabilities in the Miltitary uniformed artiste arena. All artistes featured on Squadease are part of the Polease book and will be expected to appear in the online book - ArtisteZone.
