Polease Welcomed to the Punch
Polease have been selected to supply Armed Police (uniformed supporting artistes) and other uniforms to the new film 'Welcome to the Punch' starring James McAvoy and being directed by Eran Creevy.
'Welcome to the Punch' follows London detective Max Lewinsky and his involvement in a massive conspiracy plot. Given that the film is styled very much after Michael Mann’s storytelling, this is a big, winding story.
The film is being produced by UK production company Between the Eyes & Scott Free Prods.’ Ridley Scott and Liza Marshall are exec producing along with Brian Kavanaugh-Jones, president of Automatik, which will finance the film, and Alliance president Charles Layton and IM Global CEO Stuart Ford.
IM Global will launch international sales next month at Cannes, with Alliance distributing in Canada, the U.K. and Spain.
Filming taking place in London during 2011 for a 2012 release.
